WardWizard records the sale of 3,860 units in December 2021

Continuing the strong sales momentum for its popular range of models, WardWizard Innovations and Mobility Ltd – one of the country’s leading manufacturers of electric two-wheelers brand ‘Joy e-bike’ sold 3860 units in December 2021.

Driven by the rapid shift towards electric two-wheelers, the company registered a YoY growth of 548% compared to December 2020, where sales stood at 595 units.

It is noteworthy that the company has already sold more than 17,000 units (17,376) of electric scooters and motorcycles in the first three quarters of this financial year (April- December 2021), logging a growth of 570% as compared to the same period of last financial year (April- December 2020). Quarter 3 unit sales crossed 10,000 units for the first time for WardWizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd.

Commenting on the prospects of the company in the wake of this record-breaking performance, Mrs Sheetal Bhalerao, Chief Operations Officer, WardWizard Innovations and Mobility Ltd, said, “Electric two-wheelers are becoming part of a large number of households in both the urban and semi-urban cities. Encouraged by the green mobility revolution in the country, EVs are becoming the preferred mobility solution for many new riders. As there is a high demand for high-speed scooter models, the company is launching their first-ever ‘Made-in-India’ high-speed scooter models in the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit. To further meet the growing market demand, the company will be continuing to strengthen its presence across the country and also making investments to facilitate the growth of the electric vehicle industry.”

New Automatic Assembly Line	Announced expansion of annual production capacity from one lakh units to two lakh units in a single shift with the new automatic assembly line at Vadodara manufacturing plant from October 2021.

Connected Mobility	Launched ‘JOY E-CONNECT’, a cloud-based mobile application for the customers with the new era of technology to enhance their overall riding experience.
Marketing	Entered into a collaboration with ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ to reach the mass audience with the launch of the #BachatOnTheMove campaign
CSR Activities	Celebrated World Environment Day with a planned plantation drive across the facility
New Facility	Inaugurated the state of the art manufacturing facility in Vadodara, Gujarat.
