Legrand India gets a new CEO

Legrand, electrical and digital building infrastructure provider, has appointed Tony Berland as the CEO and Managing Director for Legrand Group in India. He takes over reins from Mr. Thuard and  will be responsible for strengthening India as a strong base for business operations making Legrand the industry leader in the domain of electrical and digital infrastructure.

Berland has thirty years of experience working in the international electrical industry, He is associated with Legrand Group for over a period of 28 years. He was responsible for leading Legrand operations across markets like Europe, South East Asia, New Zealand and Australia. Tony has driven strategy-oriented growth across different geographies.

Jean-Luc Cartet, Executive VP Asia-Pacific Middle East Africa South America, said, “Tony is a strong, strategic and dynamic leader, given his strong command of our business and proven ability to drive results in international markets. With his breadth of experience across diverse business verticals, we are confident that he will drive Legrand India into the next phase of growth.”

Berland has been associated with the Legrand Group for over a period of 28 years, since 1990 and holds an MBA from France. Starting his journey with Legrand from a Business Manager in France, Tony held few positions in Sales and Marketing for the brand and other group brands (Planet Wattohm and Arnould).
